Southern Film Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to illuminating the true history of the South through the art of film. Our mission is to empower southern-born filmmakers who are passionate about uncovering and sharing the authentic narratives of our region. By providing financial grants, Southern Film Society supports these artists in their journey to document the rich, often untold, stories of the South.
